This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number is DSWA01-97-Q-0051 and is issued as a request for quote. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-96. This procurement is set aside for small business, see Note 1, under Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 5045. The Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) intends to award a purchase order for the purchase of ADP software. The information includes purchasing a Rumba for Office Combo Plan (16 & 32 Bit) 1 User, part # 820219-000 and a One Step Service Plan 1 User, part # 820200-000.
