Telephone No. 541/465-6506 A project to evaluate past and current watershed conditions in order to identify environmental trends and problems, to list potential restoration projects and to evaluate existing uses and projects under the objectives of the Northwest Forest Plan. This watershed analysis area includes Matrix, Adaptive Management Area (AMA), Late Successional Reserve (LSR) and Riparian Reserve allocations. Identified potential projects must be evaluated for compliance with the Standards and Guidelines of the Northwest Forest Plan and the Aquatic Conservation Strategy, as well as the compatibility with LSR goals. The watershed analysis should be accomplished by a team of resource specialists who are professionally qualified to assess and interpret the structure, composition, and function of the ecosystems, including the human/social aspects within the two watersheds. Award will be based on evaluation criteria, given in descending order of importance, as follows: (1) Professional qualifications, (2) past performance, (3)specialized experience and technical competence, (4) capacity, and (5) firm location.
