R -- ENVIRONMENTAL SUPPORT CONTRACT (ESC) SOL F08650-97-R-0415 DUE 080497 POC Linda Sherod or Carolyn "Lee" Thompson, (407) 494-2208 THIS ACQUISITION IS SET ASIDE FOR COMPETITION AMONG 8(a) FIRMS NATIONWIDE. This procurement will provide environmental support services to Cape Canaveral Air Station, FL, Patrick AFB, FL, all Florida annexes, and Ramey Solar Observatory in Puerto Rico. Services under this contract shall include performing environmental studies; sampling, analysis, and monitoring; and providing technical support in the following areas: Environmental permitting; solid waste; hazardous and non-hazardous waste; air emissions; environmental planning (NEPA); spill response reporting; storage tanks; EPCRA reporting; environmental training; compliance (ECAMP); pollution prevention; asbestos; lead-based paint and PCBs; natural and cultural resources; automatic data processing and Geographical Information System (GIS) support; environmental public affairs; water, wastewater, and stormwater. Contract type is a combination of IDIQ (indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity) and FPAF (Fixed-price-award-fee). A basic contract period of Jan-Sep 98 with 4 one-year options is contemplated. Security clearances will be required. Conflict of interest rules may apply which would prohibit participation in related acquisitions.
