DESCRIPTION OF WORK -- The work includes construction of a 455 foot long by 30 foot wide concrete pier and a 131 foot long by 40 foot wide boat launch/recovery ramp. Included is dredging, rock revetment, extension of site utility lines for fresh water, fire protection, waste water collection system, lighting and power, mooring fittings, fendering system, demolition of existing pier and bulkhead, and incidental related work. -- The estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. -- Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. -- Contract duration is 448 calendar days, which includes approximately 78 calendar days delay for least tern nesting season. -- This contract will be unrestricted. -- The Standard Industrial Code is 1629 and the annual size standard is $13.5 million. -- It is recommended that the subcontracting goals reflect a minimum of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting effort. -- Plans and specs will NOT be mailed out to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office. -- A fee will be charged for all plans and specs.
