28 -- RETROFIT KITS FOR F110-GE-400. POC Contact, Deborah A. Flaherty, Phone (703)604-6100 The Naval Air System Command intends to issue orders under the Air Force Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) F34601-97-G-0002 with General Electric Aircraft Engines (GEAE), Cincinnati, OH. The services and supplies to be provided by GEAE are for the support of the F110-GE-400 aircraft engine. Retrofit kits to comply with Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) will be procured to resolve engineering problems with F110-GE-400 engines. In addition, associated support equipment spares, special tooling, and associated data will be procured. As the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the F110-GE-400 engine, GEAE is the only known source who possesses the required expertise, technical data, and knowledge of the engine to provide the required efforts.
