(Sony) to provide 4 Magnetic Optical Disk Recorders, Sony Model #PCM-9000 with remote controller, Model #RMD-9000 and Circuit Card Options, DABK-9001, 9003, 9004, and 9005. These units are designed to work with the current Library-owned 24bit digital signals output from Sony Digital consoles, Model 6000 and Model 4000. This equipment will be new equipment only; used or reconditioned equipment will not be accepted. Interested parties may identify their capabilities to respond to this requirement and submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all information received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
