The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a supply/service contract to the qualified individual or business capable of providing coffee equipment and supply for the Federal Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky. Services include but are not limited to: supplying six coffee dispensing systems, utilizing a self contained, boxed, frozen, concentrated coffee which when dispensed will be mixed with hot water to produce an 8 oz. cup of medium strength coffee. Coffee types should be caffeinated and non-caffeinated, with deliveries to be one per month. Maintenance of the equipment is also required, with quarterly preventative maintenance checks. Requirements include: at least one year of prior coffee equipment maintenance and supply experience. This solicitation is unrestricted. The contract period will be for twelve months from date of award. The anticipated issue date of solicitations is June 11, 1997, with an anticipated receipt of offers due by July 30, 1997.
