307-773-2635, Contract Administrator Architect-Engineer (A-E) services
are required for production of Mechanical-Electrical designs, plans,
drawings, estimates, specification, and investigative studies necessary
for execution of construction (Title I). In addition, supervision and
inspection services for projects under construction (Title II) and
other services, including studies, surveys, and services associated
with miscellaneous operations and maintenance projects at F.E. Warren
AFB, WY may be awarded. It is anticipated that the open-end indefinite
delivery contract will be issued for a period of one year from the
date of award, with provisions for an option year. Projects will be
issued to the A-E firm by delivery order. Delivery Orders will not
exceed $299,000, and cumulative amounts of all work orders will not
exceed $450,000 per one year period. A minimum fee of $5,000 will be
issued against the contract. Delivery Orders will be issued as the need
arises during the contract period. Projects will include work
associated with architectural discipline, including remodel and
renovation of existing facilities, new facilities, and repair elements
and components of existing structures. Abestos abatement and lead
based paint testing and engineering will be required on some, if not
all of the projects. Significant evaluations for A-E selections, in the
order of relative importance, are as follows: a. Specialized experience
in all areas of mechanical-electrical design work including
maintenance, repair, alteration, and new construction. b. Professional
qualifications of the staff to be assigned to these projects including
experience and training of key personnel, type and quality of projects
the staff has been involved with, and the ability of the staff to be
creative and imaginative. c. Professional capacity of the firm to
accomplish work within time frames required and concurrent with the
firms other projects. d. AutoCAD (Release 13), asbestos surveying, lead
based paint surveying, electronic surveying, geotechnical, and
geochemical testing capability and capacity of the firm. e. Past
performance of the firm with respect to execution of DOD, Air Force,
and other contracts, both government and private. f. Volume of work
previously awarded to the firm by DOD agencies. g. Location of the firm
in the general geographical area of consideration, which is F.E. Warren
AFB, WY. and vicinity, providing a sufficent number of qualified firms
respond therein. Firms desiring consideration shall submit appropriate
data as described in numbered Note 62 of the Standard Forms 254 and
