Landscape Architecture Services are required for report preparation for the Rancho de las Cabras Cultural Landscape Report (CLR) and Cultural Landscape Inventory (CLI). Also included are: Preparation of necessary advance topographical or other field surveys, conducting historical research as well as technical analyses and investigations, preparation of preliminary studies, sketches, layouts, advance cost estimates, and other special services as not. This project will consist of a contract for historical and ethnographic research and physical investigations that will lead to a Cultural Landscape Report (CLR) with recommendations for landscape preservation/stabilization/restoration for Rancho de las Cabras, associated with Mission Espada, San Antonio Missions National Historical Park (NHP), San Antonio, Texas. The project will also include preparation of a Level II Cultural Landscape Inventory (CLI) form for the site. The purpose of the CLR is three-fold: 1) To document the evolution of the site's cultural landscape resources; 2) To document and evaluate the existing cultural landscape conditions; and 3) To develop appropriate alternative treatment guidelines, strategies, and/or plans for the preservation and enhancement of cultural landscape resources at Rancho de las Cabras. Duration of the contract allows for twelve (12) calendar months from Notice of Award. This solicitation is 100% small business set aside in accordance with PL 100-656. Joint venture or firm/consultant arrangements will be considered and evaluated on a demonstrated interdependency of the members to provide a quality design effort. Responses must be received within 21 calendar days of the date of this notice, BUT NO LATER THAN 06/27/97. A-E firms which meet the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit a completed Standard Form (SF) 254, and SF 255 to the office indicated. This is not a request for proposal. EVALUATION: see note #24. Selection will be based upon evaluation of the SF 254 and SF 255 by the selectionofficial. Only firms that respond to this synopsis by filling out a current SF-254 and SF-255 will be considered.
