The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a nonpersonal service contract to the qualified individual or business capable of providing comprehensive lab services for the Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp, Ashland, Kentucky. Services include but are not limited to: furnishing all necessary personnel, materials, equipment and licensed facilities. Report results via an electronic printer or approved courier service, quarterly visits to the institution by a qualified lab representative, supplying an electronic printer, pre-printed lab requisition forms, test report forms, and a secured lab pick up container. Requirements include: the lab must be licensed as a high complexity clinical lab with accredidation by a CLIA recognized accrediting organization. The lab should be under the direct supervision of a physician. This is a nonpersonal service, not to exceed 30 hours per week, and not a personnel appointment. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. The anticipated issue date of solicitations is June 11, 1997, with an anticipated receipt of offers due by July 30, 1997.
