Skirchak, Contracting Officer, 512-916-5058 SIC1799-Elevator Modernization, US Courthouse, Homer Thornberry Bldg, and VA Data Center, Austin, TXSOL GS-07P-97-UGC-0011, POC Christy Skirchak 512-916-5058, furnishing all work required for the following: removal of certain existing elevators and installation of new equipment to provide geared passenger elevator in the Homer Thornberry Bldg; modernize two existing passenger elevators; providing new solid state microprocessor controls, car slings including safeties, cab, door operator, hoistway doors and hardware in the U.S. Court House and modernize two existing passenger elevators providing new signal fixture, car emergency lighting, communication system, door operator, hoist doors and hardware, signal equipment and all necessary material in the VA Data Center. All work must meet fire service and handicap provisions. Cost range of the project is $400,000 to $550,000. This is a negotiated procurement. Requests for plans and specs should be submitted to the GSA Printing Plant by calling 817-334-5696. The printing plant will give instructions on submitting the $30.00 non-refundable deposit in the form of a cashier's check, money order or by credit card refer to Elevator Modernization UGS0011.
