Z -- REPLACE SIDING/WINDOWS, FY72 FAMILY HOUSING SOL FA4416-97-B0019 DUE 071697 POC Contract Specialist, Daniel Newell; Contracting Officer, Charles R Buebe Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, etc. and perform all operations necessary to Replace Siding/Windows, FY72 Family Housing located on Andrews Air Force Base, MD. One Job, 360 calendar day performance period. Estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing siding, existing windows, and all related trim, provide new aluminum clad wood double-hung windows, new trim, new interior window trim, air infiltration barrier, new vinyl siding and drywall repair work as relates to the new windows. Work includes temporary removal and installation of electric, Cable TV and other communication cables which are affected by new work. Also, remove existing hose bibs and provide new freezeless hose bibs in some locations. Refinish doors and trim and provide new storm doors and mini blinds. This project requires close coordination with the Government in order to meet complicated scheduling requirements.
