manufacture of 21,660 each Suspension Bands consisting of two (2)
halves made of round carbon bar steel with a 1 1/2 degree offset. Each
Suspension Band half is Cadmium Plated. The two halves are assembled
with a screw, washer, and wing nut. This Item is used to suspend a MK
58 Marine Location Marker from an airplane external carriage.
Suspension Band assemblies are packaged in a shipping container IAW
PPP-B-636, 128 assemblies are in each container. Manufacturer must be
able to bend close tolerances. Lot Acceptance Testing will be
performed. First Article testing may be required if supplies similar or
identical to those called for have not been previously delivered by the
offeror and accepted by the Government. A firm-fixed price purchase
order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is
reserved for Small Business. The applicable SIC code is 3549 and the
size standard is 500 employees or less. Delivery is required F.O.B.
Crane 120 days after effectivedate of award. It is anticipated that a
formal RFQ will be issued to satisfy this requirement. FAR Part 12
procedures will not apply. Solicitation requests may be made to the
above contact point; e-mail is preferred. All responsible sources may
