proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period
one or more times a the discretion of the government. The total shall
not exceed 4 years. This is an unrestricted acquisition with a 10%
preference for SDB concerns. It is suggested that small business firms
or others interested in subcontracting opportunities make direct
contact with firm(S) listed. This acquisition is for supplies for which
the government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data;
therefore. the government intends to solicit and contract with only
approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(C)(1). Approved
sources are: Caterpillar, Inc. mcbee supply, AM General Corp. This
proposed procurement includes a family of items within federal supply
class 2910,2990, 3020,3040, and 4820. Automated Best Value Model (ABVM)
applies. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of
offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of
price and past performance as described in the solicitation. All
