This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F41691-97-Q-0757 is issued as a request for quotataion (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 90-43. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business. The SIC code is 7372, Prepackaged Software and 7389, Software Maintenance, size standard is $18.0. Requirement consists of (1 ea) MicroStrategy DDS Server/Web, 8 concurrent users, (1 ea) 1 year maintenance on software for DDS Server/Web, (1 ea) DSS consulting for ten days, and (1 lot) travel expenses for 10 days including up to 3 trips to Randolph AFB is support of MicroStrategy DDS Server/Web. It is the intent of the Government to award a contract on a sole source basis to MicroStrategy, Dallas TX pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties capable of providing the above, must submit written price and technical proposals, and provide firm evidence of their ability to perform. All responses will be fully considered. Award will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, evaluation procedures IAW FAR 13.106-2 will be used. Offerors must inclde catalog price lists, delivery schedules and a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items.
