Janilea Bays, Contracting Officer, (202) 767-1473 This is a notice of intent from the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) to procure on an other than full and open competitive basis with Comptek Federal Systems, Advanced Systems Development, 96-10 23rd Ave., East Elmhurst, NY 11369 to provide maintenance and technical support for a Microwave Generation Subsystem and two Microwave Distribution Subsystems. These systems are highly complex, real-time, RF pulse simulation subsystems composed of proprietary software and proprietary digital and RF circuitry. They are part of a complex system that has a critical role in the Navy, requiring immediate response upon discovery of problems. To meet this need, the contractor must be capable of isolating between RF, digital, and software problems for subsystems from the date of contract award.
