The Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Administration on Developmental Disabilities (ADD) requires services to administer programs which promote the self-sufficiency and protect the rights of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The Developmental Disablities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 1990 as amended (P.L. 104-183)(the Act) supports and provides assistance to States and Public and private nonprofit agencies and organizations to assure that individuals with developmental disabilities and their families participate in the design of, and have access to, culturally competent services and rceive suppport and other assistance and opportunities that promote independence, productivity, integration, and inclusion into the community. The major goal of this requirement is to work in partnership with State Governments, local communities and the private sector to increase the social and economic integration of individuals with developmental disabilites and their families into the fabric of society. This procurement will focus specifically on the technical assistance component of the Developmental Disabilities Councils. The anticipated period of performance is twelve (12) months with two (2) one year options. Interested parties should request RFP 105-97-7010. All requests must be submitted in writing.
