BACHELOR ENLISTED QUARTERS, LAS PULGAS AREA, MARINE CORPS BASE, CAMP PENDLETON, CALIFORNIA SOL N68711-94-B-1738 DUE 072397 POC Dave Garcia/Contract Specialist, (619) 532-3038, Katherine Luhmann/Contracting Officer, (619) 532-2796 DESCRIPTION OF WORK -- The work includes construction of 3 (three) story Bachelor Enlisted Quarter structures and a 1 (one) story Activities building complete with concrete footing and floor slabs; masonry exterior and interior bearing walls; standing seam metal roofing over metal deck and steel trusses; Single ply roofing over insulated metal deck and steel structure; elevator; plumbing, wet pipe fire spinkler system, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, electrical lighting and power, intercommunications, master antenna TV, and fire alarm system and incidental related work. Exterior site work includes asphalt concrete paving; extension of existing sewer, water, underground electrical, gas services, storm drainage system, landscaping, and irrigation system; demolition of existing buildings and incidental related work. -- The estimated cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. -- Firm Fixed Price Contract. -- Contract duration is approximately 365 calendar days. -- Bids will be considered from all responsible sources. -- This project is unrestricted. -- The Standard Industrial Code is 1522 and the annual size standard is $17 million. It is recommended the subcontracting goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting effort. -- NOTE: Plans and specs will not be mailed to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office. A fee will be charged for all plans and specs.
