Z -- UPGRADE HVAC SYSTEM AND CONTROLS, TWADDLE AFRC, MIDWEST CITY, OK SOL DABT39-97-B-0038 DUE 071897 POC Ramon Rodriguez, Contract Specialist, (405) 442-4315/3225 Furnish all labor, tools, supplies, equipment, materials, and incidentals to upgrade HVAC system and controls in accordance with the drawings and specifications. The work to be performed includes the following principal features: In general, work consist of step by step inspection, adjustment, service and repair of existing Air Handling Units (AHU), Fan powered VAV Terminal (Heating/Cooling) Units (V, VC, VF, VFS, FC), installlation of new HVAC system in room 207A and in second floor unit B area, testing & balance, and verifications that all work is repaired and HVAC is operational. Work includes but not limited to: a. Reduce existing Ethylene Glycol 30% by weight solution in Heating Water System to 20% by weight, provide Water Treatment and Analyses in accordance with Boiler manufacturer's recommendations. b. Reconnect return air control dampers in first floor mechanical room. c. Service and reapir each V, VF, VFS, FC, and AHU unit on first, second floors, Unit B, and hallways of Army side of facilities. d. Remove and replace thermostats with new units where present units are Bradshaw "Deadband" type thermostats. e. Calibrate and adjust Night Set Back thermostats, provide and install new lockable, keyed alike covers. f. Relocate existing VAV unit and provide and install new Fan Powered VAV (Heating/Cooling) unit system in room 207A. g. Provide and install new roof top Packaged Heat Pump (Heating/Cooling) system in second floor unit B area. h. Modify building electrical systems to accomodate new equipment and systems being installed. This solicitation is subject to availability of funds. Estimated issue date is June 18, 1997.
