16 -- AMENDMENT TO REQUIREMENT FOR AN/ALR-67(V)3 CM RECEIVING SETS SOL N00019-98-C-0003 DUE 071597 POC Contact, Kim Davis, Phone (703)604-6100 THIS IS AN AMENDMENT TO NAVAIR SYNOPSIS 20090-97 PRINTED ON OR ABOUT 5/30/97. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to procure AN/ALR-67(V)3 Countermeasures Receiving Sets from Hughes Aircraft Company (HAC), Los Angeles, CA. It is planned to procure approximately sixty (60) systems in the basic, of which approximately twenty will be spares. The option will have step ladder quantities for one hundred-twenty (120) systems, of which approximately twenty (20) will be spares. HAC is the designer and developer for the AN/ALR-67(V)3 system. Only HAC has the required AN/ALR-67(V)3 engineering expertise and data necessary to support the Navy's requirements as the government has not yet received or validated the technical data package.
