34 -- DEMINERALIZERS SOL N00181-97-R-0050 POC Nancy Hassell-Sitar, Code 531, (757) 396-8345 The Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to solicit for the purchase of demineralizers. The requirement includes: a stainless steel demineralizer pressure vessel meeting ASME boiler code specifications (ASME boiler code stamp required); loading (charging) of demineralizers with resins and/or activated charcoal; hydrostatic testing of demineralizers after charging. Transportation of charged demineralizers to NNSY shall be included. Provide records, reports, drawings and data to monitor contractor compliances. Estimated quantities and volumes: eight demineralizers, 88 cu ft resin/charcoal.
