636-4373. The USCG YARD is soliciting bids for a Kahn hydraulic system
model 302-280 or equal IAW salient characteristics. The minimum
requirements shall include: (a) Dynamometer control system an
instrumentation, (b) Torque calibration system, (c) Engine drive shaft,
(d) Hydraulic dynamometer, and (e) Recirculating system. The hydraulic
system is a commercial buy and the bidder is responsible for providing
all information and/or descriptive literature, (such as cuts,
illustrations, drawings and/or other information (necessary for the
Contracting Officer to determine whether the product offered meets the
salient characteristics requirement of the solicitation. If the bidder
must modify a product so as to make it conform to the requirements of
this solicitation, it shall include in it's bid a clear description of
such proposed modifications, and clearly mark any descriptive material
to show the proposed modifications. Modifications proposed after sealed
bid opening to make a product conform to a salient characteristic in
the solicitation will not be considered. The Coast Guard anticipates
issuing the solicitation approximately 30 days after date of this
publication. These dates are for informational purposes only. Final
acceptance shall be at destination. Closing date and time for receipt
of bids will be established when the solicitation is issued. Companies
