Sources Sought: The Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) Acquisition Center and PM Combat Identification (PM CID) are seeking sources for a millimeter wave which operates at 38 GHz, low probability of detection, low probability of interception, question and answer, Battlefield Combat Identification System (BCIS) for ground-to-ground and air-to-ground platforms. Proposed systems must address interoperability with the current BCIS design, developed under CECOM contract DAAB07-93-C-K011 with TRW, Inc., Electronics Systems and Technology Division, Space and Electronics Group, Redondo Beach, California. This is a market survey requesting information. No solicitations will be issued against this notice. This survey is also issued IAW the requirements of FAR Part 10 to determine the applicability of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items.
