S -- DELICATESSEN AND BAKERY OPERATION SOL DECA02-97-R-0007 DUE 063097 POC Contract Specialist Lynn Lazos (804) 734-9844 (Site Code HQCAAA) Contractor is to manage and operate a customer-oriented, in-store, resale deli/bakeries located in two DeCA Southwest Region clusters as follows: (1) Travis AFB, McClellan AFB, Hill AFB, Beale AFB, Presidio of San Francisco, and Presidio of Monterey, CA; (2) March AFB, Edwards AFB, Long Beach NS, and Los Angeles AFB, CA. Performance period is Base Year, 01 Dec 97 through 30 Nov 98, with four option years. The contractor will be responsible for ordering,receiving, storing, displaying, merchandising, and processing products for sale to commissary customers. The Government will furnish secure space in each commissary for the contractor operated delicatessen and bakery. The contractor will retain ownership of the deli/bakery products until scanned by the Government at the front-end register. Solicitation is tentatively scheduled for issuance for 1 August 1997. Estimated opening date is 17 October 1997. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered. Only written or faxed requests will be honored. This is an unrestricted procurement.
