Berns (719)567-3834 Project consists of, but is not limited to, replacement of existing head-end computer system for base-wide fire reporting system at Falcon AFB, Colorado. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, expertise and facilities to replace the existing head-end computer system for the Base-wide, campus style fire reporting system in accordance with the plans and specifications. The new system will upgrade the existing system to provide greater capabilities and increased capacity. The project includes installation of a new microcomputer-based system, setup in a new local area network configuration to report alarms to monitors at multiple locations on the base. Project will require replacement of some fire alarm control panels but will not require replacement of fire detection and alarming devices. Installation will also include running fiber optic cable through an existing base, underground communication duct bank network for connectivity between individual buildings and the FireReporting System. Installation of the new system will require maintaining the existing system in an active state until the new system has been installed and tested. The existing system is largely composed of Honeywell detectors, devices and fire alarm control panels. To ensure 100%, two-way, UL approved communication compatibility between the system and devices, only Honeywell equipment will be accepted (Sole Brand). This acquisition is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Funds are not currently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available. This project is funded under straddle Bid A. This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside. For informational purposes the small business size standard for this solicitation is one wherethe average annual receipts of the concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years does not exceed $17 million.
