Z -- SACRAMENTO RIVER FLOOD CONTROL, PHASE II LEVEE RECONSTRUCTION, CONTRACT 2B MARYSVILLE/YUBA CITY AREA, CA SOL DACW05-97-B-0052 DUE 072497 POC Contract Specialist Tricia Christie (Site Code DACA05) Project consists of: (1) Site 6: A berm and toe drain (approximately 8,100 feet); (2) Site 7: A berm and toe drain (approximately 19,335 feet), an impervious slurry cutoff wall (approximately 15,900 feet), levee raising and ramps and roadway (approximately 38,075 feet); and (3) Site 13: Levee raising and ramps and roadway (approximately 4, 140 feet). This procurement will be conducted under SIC code: 1629. The size standard for this SIC code is: $17 million. Large businesses competing for this project must comply with the FAR 52.219-9 clause regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan on the part of the work it intends to subcontract. The recommended goals for subcontracting are 55.0% for small business, 8.5% for small disadvantaged business, and 3.0% for small business/woman-owned. A firm that submits a plan with lesser goals must submit written rationale to support goals submitted. Estimated cost is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Plans and specifications for this project must be orderedand the check received by the CUT OFF DATE of 16 June 96 to ensure receipt of bid sets at a cost of $24.00_ for specifications (text only); and $40.00 for half-size drawings. Full size drawings are not available. Orders received beyond the CUT OFF DATE will not be honored. Plans and specifications will be mailed out on or about 24 June 97. Because a limited number of sets will be reproduced, copies are limited to one set per firm.
