Z -- REROOF BUILDINGS SOL IFB 441-0078 DUE 072997 POC Tom Dufort, Regional Contract Specialist, 717-547-1641, extension 548 SOLICITATION NOTICE: Contractor to re-roof buildings that are located at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Fort Dix, New Jersey. The project involves two buildings consisting of approximately 32,520 square feet total. An additional building of approximately 11,520 square feet will be solicited as an additive line item. Work will also involve removal and off-site disposal of existing membrane roofing and other associated materials. The work is projected to begin in September 1997 with seventy-five (75) days allowed for completion time. An additional thirty days (30) will be allowed if the additive line item is awarded. This action is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Background investigations/clearances will be required. Bid packages will be available on or about June 26, 1997 and until bid opening, which should take place on or about July 29, 1997. The specifications and drawings will be available for inspection at FPC Allenwood Visiting Room upon prior request until the bid closing date and time. All vendors that answered the Pre-Solicitation Notice need not resubmit a request for the solicitation package.
