The Navy requires a total of 100 each AN/WSQ-6(XAN-1) satellite transmitting buoys to be manufactured in accordance with performance specifications. This requirement will be solicited on a sole-source basis from METOCEAN Data Systems Limited, 40 Fielding Avenue, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada B3B 1EA due to METOCEAN being the only qualified source by the Navy for the buoy being procured. Delivery is required F.O.B. NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane by 1 October 1997. Note #22 applies. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency. (0156)
