The Government is presently setting up an electronic reading room in addition to the physical reading room located in the Redstone Scientific Information Center (RSIC), Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898. In order to obtain access to the electronic reading room on the CCAWS intranet web site, a contractor must submit a written request signed off by the Facility Security Officer to Ms. Felicia Jones, FAX (205)842-7146, providing the company name; cage code; facility security clearance; and the individual's name, individual's security clearance, social security number, telephone number, and E-mail address. Access is restricted to three individuals from each company. Upon approval by the Government, each requesting individual will be assigned a user identification and password to allow their entry into the electronic reading room. The user must have an Internet Web Browser capable of 128 bit RC-4 encryption. Response to this announcement is on a voluntary basis andfailure to respond will not preclude participation in any future acquisition. The Government will not pay for any contractor costs incurred gaining access to the electronic reading room. No classified data will be put in the electronic reading room. To review classified data, the contractor will have to visit the physical reading room in RSIC, Building 4484, Redstone Arsenal, AL. The FOTT electronic reading room will contain data whose export is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act (Title 22, U.S.C. sec 2751 et seq) or the Export Administration Act (Title 50, U.S.C. App 2401-2402). The Electronic Reading Room is available to U.S. citizens only. Foreign nationals to include U.S. citizens working on behalf of a foreign industry are not allowed. (0156)
