The contractor will propose, deliver and install, equipment upgrades to the current Logiplex Corporation designed and proprietary, Integrated Electronic Security System (IESS), to enhance capabilities. Replacement with a new keyless entry and assess control system will be considered for planning purposes, however it is unlikely sufficient funding will become available for this acquisition. A site visit (pre-proposal conference) on 30 June 1997, will be held at 9:00AM at Collins Hall, 650 Wright Avenue, Carlisle Barracks, to answer technical and upgrade capability questions. No technical or system performance information will be provided in the RFQ. Drawings or as built specifications may be examined at the site visit, however will not be removed from the government's possession. All site visit attendees must provide adequate identification and may be subject to further investigation if additional access is requested for proposal preparation purposes.
