The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement for the modification and rehabilitation of an existing drop frame expandable van trailer for the Office of Technology Application's Demonstration Project # 114, "Traffic and Transportation Models." The trailer modification, rehabilitation and redesign will customize the existing interior to facilitate classroom lectures and hands-on interactive demonstration training. The interior modification will consist of a classroom for conducting lectures with a seating capacity for up to thirty (30) people, and will be equipped with ten (10) instructional work-stations with large display screens. This requirement is a Full and Open Competitive procurement action. An award of Firm Fixed Price contract is contemplated for this requirement.
