This acquisition will be full-and-open competition. The Government intends to issue the Request For Proposal (RFP) electronically. The RFP and other related documents will be posted on the Air Force Business Opportunities Page on the internet at "http://www.wpafb.af.mil/safaq/programs/mtf/master.html". The estimated timeframe for RFP issuance is late June or early July 1997. NO HARD COPIES OF THE RFP OR RELATED DOCUMENTS WILL BE ISSUED. The Contractor shall provide the professional medical and clinic support personnel to perform technical/professional clinical programs in radiation oncology therapy health care to Government beneficiaries eligible for health care. The Contractor shall provide care in Government supplied facilities at the Radiation Oncology/Medical Physics Service, 74th Medical Group, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH, also referred to as the "Medical Treatment Facility" (MTF). Offerors shall have an alternate facility within a 25 mile radius of the facility. A Sources Sought announcement was posted in the Commerce Business Daily on 30 Apr 97.
