The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for cleaning air handlers and duct cleaning in Wing 6 at the Department of Commerce, Building 1, 325 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80303. The following are the requirements: (1) Clean full length of hot deck trunk line; (2) Clean full length of cold deck trunk line; (3) Clean full length of all return duct lines; (4) Clean all branch lines to offices and labs; (5) Clean all ceiling registers; (6) Clean all vertical shafts; (7) Clean and power wash the entire return air handler; (8) Power wash the entire supply air handlers including blowers, coils, and cabinets; (9) Removing and replacing pads in the air handler, TSD will furnish the pads for this air handler; (10) Sanitizing the entire system; (11) Cutting all excess panels and covering same with covers; (12) All work will be done out of hours with in one weekend from 5:30 P.M. Friday to 4:00 A.M. Monday; (13) Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) sheet on all chemicals used. Responses must arrive in this office by June 20, 1997 and reference Synopsis No. NT361000701206JW.
