FY96 MCA PN 42470, Dining Facility and Landscape Layout, Whole Barracks Renewal, Phase 1B-2, Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii, consists of two construction packages with service maintenance being solicited as a single unrestricted procurement utilizing electronic bid sets (EBS): Package 1) -- Construct one standard-design 501-800 person dining facility with carry-out. Dining facility includes dining room, serving line, kitchen, dishwashing, refrigerators, freezer, dry storage, offices, janitor's closet, restrooms, mechanical room, electrical room, and a loading dock. Air conditioning for the dining facility to provide 395,000 watts of cooling. This package includes maintenance (Service Contract) of air conditioning, fire sprinkler, fire alarm and electrical distribution systems, as well as 12 months of project administration for a period of two years after beneficial occupancy. Package 2) -- Install irrigation system and provide landscaping for FY95/96 Whole Barracks Renewal projects. Landscape work to include trees, shrubs, and grassing (turf). The irrigation system includes full sprinkler areas, drip irrigation system, backflow preventers and irrigation control devices. This is an unrestricted procurement utilizing electronic bid sets (EBS). Traditional hard copies of plans and specifications will NOT be available for this project.
