The building is located at the 162nd Fighter Wing, Arizona Air National Guard, located adjacent to the Tucson IAP, Tucson, Arizona. The building is partially occupied by one fighter squadron. The scope of work includes the architectual, electrical, and mechanical renovation and remodel of vacant space in Phase I, (approximately 14,400 sq ft). Demolition of space currently occupied and remodel of the same in Phase II (aproximately 7,118 sq ft). The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $ 500,000 and $ 1,000,000. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on June 18, 1997 with a site visit/prebid conference scheduled for July 1, 1997 at the project site. Bid Opening is tentatively scheduled for July 17, 1997. Interested parties are required to submit their solicitation request in writing along with the fee to the attention of the POC. The fee for plans and specifications is Eighty-eight (88) dollars non-refundable (Cashier Check or Money Order) payable to ACE Reprographics. Cash, personal or company checks will not be accepted. Include with your request the name of your shipper and your account number. No phone or faxed requests accepted. Plans and specifications will be available for review at no charge at the office of the Contracting Officer (Phoenix) and at the Base Civil Engineers Office (Tucson) after the solicitation issuance date.
