Goodchild, Contracting Officer, 206-983-3878 Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials for the addition to Building 6, Fire Station (reserves), McChord AFB, WA. Work will include the removal and disposal of landscape materials as required, provide storm drainage lines and connections, new sidewalk, construct building addition, provide all mechanical and electrical systems, and repair and/or reinstall all items disturbed by the work. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 1542 with a size standard of $7.0 million for the last three fiscal years. The solicitation will be issued under full and open competition procedures on or about 3 Jul 97 with bids due on or about 3 Aug 97. There is a $35.00 non-refundable charge for each bid set. Payment in the form of a company check, certified cashier's check, or U.S. postal money order made payable to the Department of the Air Force must accompany each request. Personal checks and cash will not be accepted. All requests for bid sets must be in writing. Telephone and fax requests will not be accepted. Fund are not presently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under a contract. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
