Z -- ORIENT POINT SITE REPAIRS, ORIENT POINT, GREENPORT, NEW YORK SOL 1418-3K15-97 DUE 080697 POC David Springer, Contracting Officer, 301-344-0263 The Contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment, and supervision, etc., necessary for Orient Point Site Repairs, Greenport, New York. The work includes the following: 1. Install new boat ramp. 2. Install new lighting with high pressure sodium fixtures. 3. Reconstruct approximately 19,000 square yards of Bituminous Parking Lot including regrading and installation of a storm drainage and subdrainage system installed under the parking lot. 4. Dredge the sand bar located midpoint along the finger jetty. 5. Remove and replace four dolphins at the harbor entrance. 6. Repair 495 feet of bottom waler at the finger jetty on the east side of the harbor entrance. 7. Remove and replace fender piles on the finger jetty. 8. Remove boat ramp on west side of harbor and construct a berthing facility for PIADC vessels. 9. Construct boat ramp along the northern side of the harbor. 10. Repair approximately 495 linear feet of steel sheeting in the finger jetty. The total Estimated Cost of Construction for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Time for completion of the work will be 180 calendar days from the date of issuance of Notice to Proceed. A pre-bid meeting is tentatively scheduled for July 17, 1997, at Orient Point, Greenport, New York. Sets of plans and specifications will be available to bidders at no cost.
