69 -- SOURCES SOUGHT C-38 AIRCREW TRAINING DUE 062797 POC Ms. Gloria Freeman, 703-681-0607 This is a sources sought market survey to identify potential sources only. A solicitation package is not available at this time. The National Guard Bureau (NGB) has a continuing requirement for C-38 (Astra SPX) aircrew training for assigned pilots and is interested in locating qualified sources to provide the training. The training requirement is expected to consist of initial and annual refresher training for the pilots to enable them to maintain currency. The course to be taught shall be an FAA certified commercial off the self training product that provides systems and procedures training and incorporates instruction on crew resource management (CRM) and instrument refresher training (IRT). To be considered a responsible prospective contractor, offerors must be capable of furnishing fully qualified courseware, instructors, training facilities, and an FAA certified Phase II C-38 Simulator and any required cockpit procedures trainers/modules needed to perform the training. This is a new requirement tosupport follow-on training needs after the C-38 aircraft is provided to the ANG by Israel Aircraft Industries, LTD through Tracor Systems, who is under contract with the Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.
