The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate with Standard Electric Time Corporation, 52 Concord Road, Suite #3, Aston, PA 19014 on a sole-source basis to provide 300 FARADAY secondary clocks with male molex connector, P/N 2310BB-10" Flush Mount, for NIST's existing FARADAY 1460 Series Time Programmer master clock system. The FARADAY 2310BB-10" secondary clock is specifically designed for compatibility with the FARADAY 1460 Series Time Programmer system. As such, Standard Electric Time Corporation, the original manufacturer and supplier of FARADAY clocks, is uniquely qualified to meet the Agency's requirement. Required delivery is FOB Destination, Gaithersburg, MD, within 60 days after contract award. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of detemining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Written responses shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. A solicitation is not available. (0157)
