303/220-6522 Architect/Engineering indefinite quantity contract for
repair and alteration work to USPS facilities in the state of NV and
zip code 961 in CA, but primarily in southern NV. The scope of services
consist of, but is not limited to, pre-design evaluation and studies,
design services, preparation of construction documents, cost estimates,
assistance during bidding, and partial or full construction
administration services for repair and alteration projects to USPS
owned or leased facilities, and generally not exceeding $250,000 in
construction cost (the USPS reserves the right to issue contracts for
work that may exceed $250,000). The term of the contract shall be for
(2) years with (3) one year renewal options. Individual work orders
will be issued, and each work order will be negotiated as an individual
project. Work orders for any one project cannot exceed $100,000, and
the total contract cannot exceed $500,000 for each 12-month period
(total contract cannot exceed $2,500,000 for the 5 year period).
A/Efirms interested in submitting qualifications for consideration must
meet or exceed the following requirements, and will be evaluated
accordingly: 1) Office located within a 30 mile radius of Las Vegas 2)
Firms experienced in small repair and alteration projects
(architectural barriers, HVAC, roof and paving repair/replacement,
tenant improvement, etc.) 3) Firm staff of 5-20 personnel with a min.
of 2 registered architects, and a min. of 1 registered engineer in each
of the prime engineering disciplines (MP&E, and Civil) for consultants
4) Experience with unit price schedules and contracts 5) Previous
experience with other government agency unit price schedules and
contracts 6) level of proficiency of the A&E firm in the use of
autocadd 7) min. of 3 years in business 8) previous owners references
9) All architectural design, coordination, and management of the
projects must be performed by the local branch office if part of a
larger company. The selected A/E firm/s may be awarded subsequent
services over a period of five years subject to the needs of the USPS
and past performance. Award of additional projects may be made without
further solicitation for facilities in NV & CA. Firms that have the
qualifications described above are invited to submit a completed SF 254
(Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire), a SF 255
(Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for specific
projects), and a 254 for each proposed consultant. Interested firms
with more than one office must indicate on their SF 255 the staffing
composition of the office in which the work will be performed. No other
general notification for this contract will be made. Submission of SF
254 and SF 255 by USPS mail is encouraged, and submissions will not be
retained for any future solicitations. This is not a request for
