This is a contemplated sole source to Andrew SciComm Inc., 2908 National Drive, Garland, Texas 75041-2337. The solicitation number for this announcement is F08651-97-Q-2346 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Work will consist of RDU-2960DF Man Machine Interface (MMI) Software Upgrade -- configured for manual mode operation with Unix workstation and RDU-2960DF including analysis and intrapulse capability, implementation and tested in GFE RDU after hardware upgrade and shall provide two (2) copies of backup software diskettes. RDU-2960 Hardware Upgrade to RDU-2960DF, single channel, 512K memory, SCSI-I -- incoming test & inspect GFE RDU-2960, disassemble RDU-2960, installation of RDU hardware upgrade mod kit consisting of the following (6) items: (1) 512K memory CCA (2) TOI/TOD CCA (3) digitizer CCA with analog daughterboard and DF/IF daughterboard which provides intrapulse (LOG and FM) measurement and capability (4) motherboard wiring changes (5) new front panel (6) other minor internal modifications, reassemble of RDU-2960DF, ATP RDU-2960DF & QA inspection, print new RDU-2960DF manual, pack and ship RDU-2960DF. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
