DAAD05) The U.S. Army Ordnance Museum has a requirement for restoration
of museum artifacts to include tanks, artillery pieces, missiles,
armored personnel carriers and other military vehicular and weapons
systems. The collection ranges from WWI equipment to the present from
both western and eastern block nations. Contractor will be required to
remove contaminants such as paints, petroleums, oils, or lubricants
from the artifacts and to stabilize them in order to preserve them for
the future; and to provide restoration and refinishing services.
Required federal, state and APG permits, certificates and licenses will
be the responsibility of the contractor. The Government anticipates
award of a time and materials requirements contract with a base and
seven one year option periods. The closing date is estimated. No
