for the Launch Operations & Support Contract (LO&SC) published in
Section M of the CBD issue no. PSA-1812 on 28 Mar 97. A presolicitation
conference will be held at the Enlisted Beach Club (former NCO Club),
Patrick AFB, on 17 Jun 97 from 8:00 AM. until approximately 3:30 PM.
The club (Building 967) is across from the Air Force Technical
Applications Center (AFTAC) on highway A1A . The 45th Contracting
Squadron will issue a draft of the solicitation as well as provide
briefings and a question and answer session on contractual and
technical issues. A maximum of five (5) representatives from each
company may attend the conference. It is highly encouraged that at
least one member be a representative knowledgeable of contract terms
and conditions. On 18 Jun 97, beginning at 8:00 AM, there will be a
tour of those critical systems and related facilities at Cape Canaveral
Air Station (CCAS) which were unavailable for viewing on 20-21 May 97.
These facilities include the ITLX-ray facility, Area 17 and Complex
40/41. For the tour, the number of representatives per company is
limited to two. No private tours will be conducted. Tour attendees must
arrive at the South Gate Pass & Identification building at CCAS not
later than 7:45 AM. Buses will leave at 8:00 AM. Privately-owned
vehicles should be parked in the lot across the street (same as the
previous tour). After attendees are assigned to buses, they must remain
with that bus throughout the tour. The tour should conclude in the
early afternoon. For safety purposes, no dresses, skirts, high-heels,
open-toe shoes or short pants are permitted. Hard hats may be required
and attendees are requested to bring their own; however, the
government will have a limited number available. Additionally,
attendees must bring one of these five acceptable forms of
identification: (1) any state driver's license, (2) official state
identification card, (3) US military identification card, (4) official
passport, or (5) company identification card with photo and signature.

CLOSE OF BUSINESS 13 Jun 97. Please indicate representatives attending
the conference and those participating in the tour. Questions may be

including firms looking for subcontracting opportunities. Casual dress
