intends to compete its medical surveillance and care program that has
been provided to 253 Marshallese people who were accidentally exposed
to radioactive fallout on March 1, 1954 from a United States
Government's atmospheric nuclear weapons test. The United States
Government began examining and treating the Marshall Islander within
days of the nuclear accident, and has since 1956, mandated through the
U.S. Congress, provided a special medical care and treatment program
for these individuals. The program currently continues today. The
competitive application offering may involve potential sub-contracting
opportunities. The details of this offering are published as a
