Jeff Ryan, Contract Specialist, 202/874-3235. The Bureau of Engraving
and Printing (BEP) plans to issue a solicitation to acquire services
for the removal of non-hazardous waste from its Western Currency
Facility (WCF) in Fort Worth, Texas. The contractor will be expected to
collect and dump non-hazardous waste Mondays through Fridays, except
Government holidays and the BEP annual shutdown (typically December 24
thru January 1). The contractor shall provide three (3) 42 cubic yard
closed top containers; two (2) 34 cubic yard closed top containers
with self-contained compactors; and one (1) 30 cubic yard open top
container. The contractor will be responsible for removing the filled
waste containers, emptying them at a dump site, and returning them to
the WCF. The BEP anticipates that the solicitation will be ready on or
about June 18, 1997. Please submit a written request for a copy of
this solicitation prior to that date; telephone requests will not be
honored, but firms may fax or e-mail their requests to (202) 874-2200
or Jeffrey.Ryan@bep.treas.gov. This acquisition is set aside 100% for
Small Business under SIC Code 4953 with a small business size standard
of $6 million in annual receipts. Accordingly, the request should
include a statement regarding the company's size status (i.e., Large,
Small, Minority, or Women-Owned). All responsible small businesses may
submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. See Numbered
