This is not a request for either a quote or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to identify potential offerors for Indefinite Quantity Contract for Ceiling Fan Installation, Various Housing Areas, Oahu, Hawaii. The work includes, but is not limited to, providing labor and material to install wall switch operated ceiling fans in living quarters of various housing areas. Fans shall have incandescent lighting and work shall include removal of existing fans/lighting fixtures and installation of all necessary wiring with dual fan/light dimmer control wall switches. Work will include occupied and unoccupied quarters. SIC Code 1731 applies. Estimated cost: $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The contract term will be a base period of 12 months plus two option years. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed 36 months. The Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. Therefore, there is no information on prior contracts. The Government will give fair consideration to all awardees in placing orders based on criteria stated in the solicitation.
