Z -- REPLACE AIRFIELD LIGHTING MAIN CABLES SOL F64133-97-B0009 DUE 072897 POC Contact SrA Mentel, Buyer, (671) 366-6610 or fax (671) 366-3242; Sherry Wall, Contracting Officer, (671) 366-2354 The work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, quality control, supervision and support, in performing all operations for the replacement of airfield main lighting cables at the airfield Andersen AFB as follows: a. replacing the airfield lighting systems cables from the airfield vault to the manholes on the airfield; b. removing all unused cable and clean conduits prior to installation of new cables, in accordance with the specifications, codes and industry standards; c. Insuring that all cables are properly identified and neatly racked and arranged inside manholes; d. testing all airfield lighting circuits that have been affected by this by this project; e. atmospheric testing (gas-free certifications) and issuance of confined space entry permits in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.146 for all manholes which will be entered during each workshift, to be performed by or under the direction of a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH); f. provide accurate "redline" drawings to ensure correct "as-built"; and g. all other work not shown, that may be required to complete the project. Performance period will be 90 days for mobilization, submittals and material procurement and 135 calendar days for construction for a total of 225 days. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. The contract type contemplated is Firm-Fixed Price. Bids are solicited on an unrestricted basis. There is a charge for this solicitation in the amount of $31.00. You must make a company check payable to the U.S. Department of Treasury.
