63 -- SECURITY SURRVEILLANCE SYSTEM SOL RFP-614-75-97 DUE 080897 POC Jerry Shepherd, Contracting Officer, 901-577-7228 FAX 901-577-7242 Contractor shall provide all labor, materiels and perform all work for the installation of a Security Surrveillance System (SSTV) at the VA Medical Center, 1030 Jefferson Ave, Memphis, TN 38104. Work involves the replacement of the existing SSTV system and the addition of equipment for a building addition currently under construction. Work will be phased to accomodate the construction schedule. The new SSTV system will include a security control room console, 47 replacement cameras, 27 cameras for the new addition and associated equipment. The Government intends to use the TWO STEP METHOD. Technical proposals shall not include prices or pricing information. Issue date shall be on or about July 7, 1997, proposals are due by close of business August 8, 1997. In the second step, only bids based upon technical proposals determined to be acceptable will be considered for award. All requests for proposals shall be in writing and may be faxed to 901-577-7242. No more than 50 solicitations will be available and will be issued on a first come first served basis. SIC 3669 shall apply. (0160)
