(719)556-4285> Sources Sought. This acquisition is being considered
for Small Business Set- Aside. Non-Personal Services. The contractor
shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation,
and incidentals to Repair and Paint a Static Display Aircraft, EC-121
Warning Star. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is
4581-$3.5M. "Connie" is Peterson AFB largest and most noticeable
aircraft and will stand as the centerpiece of the bases' proposed
static display park. Restoration will be on-site, out- doors and will
require the following: (001) Removal af all leading edge rubber
de-icing boots or rubberized surfaces located on the leading edges of
the port and starboard wings, port and starboard stabilizers, three
vertical rudders, nose radome, upper and lower radomes (at mid-section
of aircraft), leading edges of the twelve propeller blades and a six
inch antenna located on the starboard side of the aircraft, just behind
the nose landing gear, Paint all these leading edges gloss black;(002)
Refurbish fiberglass nose radom and paint gloss black; (003) Refurbish
and patch as required, the fiberglass upper and lower radoms and paint
the appropriate colors; (004) replace the fiberglass portions of the
vertical stabilizer rudders with sheet metal and paint; (005) Strip and
or prepare overall airframe surface and paint the airframe Air Defense
Command gray; (006) Restore all existing major markings and insignia
to include the National Insignia, USAF Markings, Tail Number, Unit,
Command and Hazard Markings; (007) Replace or fill tires with hardening
expansion foam, (008) Bird proof all openings. Interested parties must
comply with all base, state and federal safety and environmental
guideline for outdoor painting to include collection and disposal a
waste material. Awardee must coordinate activities with base
bio/environmental personnel. A site visit in anticipated. Parties may

business sources are identified, this acquisition will be competed on
