COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF JUNE 11,1997 PSA#1864MEETINGS TO BE HELD REGARDING ASSEMBLED CHEMICAL WEAPON ASSESSMENT Two
meetings will be held regarding the Assembled Chemical Weapon
Assessment public involvement process on June 16-17, 1997, in the Hyatt
Regency Lexington Center, 400 W. Vine St., Lexington, KY 40507,
telephone (606)253-1234. The primary meeting will convene at 1 pm on
the 16th and adjourn at 9 pm on the 17th. The purpose of this meeting
is for DOD to work with dialogue participants (including community
members and state tribal, and federal regulators) to solicit input
regarding the program concepts, RFP criteria, milestones, stakeholder
participation, and future meetings. Technology providers are welcome to
attend and there will be opportunity for public comment. A technology
provider meeting is at the same location on June 16th from 10-11am.
This meeting is primarily for technology providers that have not
attended prior meetings of the dialogue group to learn about the public
stakeholder process and their role in this process. A resource table
with space for each technology provider to place one stack of 8 X 11
inch handouts and one 8 X 11 inch sign up sheet for interested parties
to request more information. For more information on the assessment
